Aaron Draplin Comes Home
After months of work and very generous support from Detroit AIGA, Team Detroit and Contagious Magazine, I’m very pleased to announce that Aaron Draplin will be speaking in Detroit this Thursday, August 26. If you’re in Detroit, get yourself there. There are a few tickets remaining here for the fair price of $10.
This speech represents not only an important milemarker — Aaron has never spoken in Michigan despite having been born and raised here — but it’s just plain good for Detroit. We need real, non-sports heroes in this town and it would be difficult to create someone like him if we tried. He’s talented, honest, unsoiled by bullshit and is someone worth looking up to in the way he does business. Plus, there’s that famous “America is Fucked” video:
